Coffee Luwak or Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries that have been eaten by Civet and passed through the digestive tract Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxorus Hermaphroditus). Once collected, the beans are processed hygienically, only baked half-cooked, and then pounded with a trough so as not to spoil the taste. The Kopi Luwak process occurs only on the island of Bali, Java, and Sumatra in the Indonesian archipelago.
